Brentwood Elvers RLFC was born in October 2004 through its two founders Phil Abbott and Tom Greenard. It was set up to service the development ladder of its senior counterparts Essex Eels RLFC and initially ran teams at U11 and U13 age groups.

Following an eventful first season in existence, the club grew massively as local primary and secondary schools gained experience of the game of rugby league through the Elver’s development work. The appeal of the game of rugby league to youngsters of all ages has proven extremely positive and the club now runs teams at U10, U12, U14 and U16 age groups.

Training for teams at U14 and below takes place on Saturdays during the season (usually January to July) at Holly Trees Primary School, Brentwood between 9.15-10.45am. The under 16s training arrangemnts have not yet been finalised, but for the time being, will also take place then.
